Did I mention that I have a new-found love? With whom? With vintage clothing! I thought I found the perfect vintage dealer on eBay, but unfortunately, he sold me a couple of defective items, so. . .on to the next one!
Ducky spot? That's what my husband calls a venue where a man/woman takes his mistress/other woman or man in order to remain inconspicuous. Well, I don't have a "ducky spot" for that kind of behavior, but I do when it comes to shopping! Kinda selfish, right? However, when asked nicely, I usually comply and reveal the requested info.
When I find an article of clothing that's unique, I drool, swoon, etc., and then, I buy! Ok, not EVERY single time I discover a novel piece, but in THIS case (that would be the cardigan), I did just that! (Sorry about the overexposed photos--I'm STILL playing around with my camera!)
Yeah, I know it's trendy, but I was really feelin' the Union Jack style--the operative word being "was." I put this outfit together via Polyvore, so it was only right that I mimic it in real life, right?
In retrospect, I realize that I probably should have worn this outfit on St. Patty's Day; oh well, I digress. I really like the style of this skirt...those buttons on the front drew me in immediately, and it didn't hurt that it's designed by Ann Taylor and I got it for a mere $3! Yup, another great find.
